Curriculum
Principles of plant science, principles of soil science, estate skills, agricultural crop production, root crop & field vegetable production, farm livestock husbandry, land-based workshop practice, land-based machinery operations, business planning and improvement in the land-based sector.
Each unit studied comprises four learning outcomes with pass, merit and distinction for each outcome. These are assessed using a wide variety of methods including practical observation, orals, multiple choice questions, written assessments, open book exams and formal written assessments.
