Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs grades A*-C or above including English and art & design or a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit or above. You must bring a portfolio of artwork.
Curriculum
- The first year of the course is of an exploratory nature, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills and understanding of a variety of art & design disciplines.
- The diagnostic component in the first year of the course will inform and guide students in their second year where they will focus on the pathway option they wish to follow.
- As well as studio-based lectures, students are expected to visit galleries and museums locally and in central London. There will also be a variety of College organised educational visits to galleries and museums around the country.
- All students will study Functional Skills in English as part of this course.
