Entry Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a second class honours degree, or the equivalent from an international institution, in radiography, nursing, midwifery, or another relevant subject.
- An appropriate professional qualification, such as a Diploma from the College of Radiographers, a Diploma in Nursing, or a Diploma in Midwifery.
- IELTS score of 7.0 is required in all categories.
Curriculum
Core modules:
- Fundamental principles of ultrasound practice (15 credits)
- Developing advanced practice (15 credits)
Elective modules:
- Students can select from clinical options, including obstetrics, gynaecology, abdominal ultrasound and work-based learning (clinical options to suit local needs).
- Students must gain 60 credits for a Postgraduate Certificate and 120 credits for a Postgraduate Diploma.
- The addition of a module in research methods and applied data analysis and a dissertation leads to an MSc.
