Bachelor of Robotics and Automation Engineering
About
The XMUM Robotics and Automation Engineering with Honours program (ERA) provides students with advanced skills and knowledge in a rapidly evolving sector of engineering. This curriculum, approved by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), allows graduates to register as professional engineers and pursue global opportunities. Our hands-on curriculum combines robotics, mechatronics, and AI to provide students with practical experience building and implementing intelligent automation systems.
Students will learn key aspects of robotics and automation, including programming, system design, AI integration, and sustainability. Internships with top organisations, national and international robotics contests, and new research provide a significant advantage in the employment market. The curriculum not only teaches technical skills but also encourages innovation and future-proof thinking. Students are trained to develop AI-augmented solutions that improve rather than replace human ability. Our graduates are ready to shape a collaborative, tech-driven future by designing smart robots and autonomous systems.
