Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- STPM: Passed at least two (2) subjects with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00)
- A-Level: Passed at least two (2) subjects with a minimum Grade D
- UEC: Minimum of five (5) Bs, including English
- Diploma in ECE (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Any qualifications equivalent to Diploma (Level 4, MQF) or Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF): Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Executive Diploma from University of Malaya (Level 4, MQF) in related fields: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Matriculation: Minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Foundation or its equivalent: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0
- Any qualifications equivalent to STPM/Grade 12: Pass with a minimum overall average of 60%
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: Minimum score of 30 points
- Diploma in Psychology: Completed with a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0
- Executive Diploma in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 may be used for entry to the Bachelor’s Degree, but credit transfer is NOT permissible.
- Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
English Language Requirements
For Local Students:
- UEC English Language: Minimum Grade A2
- MUET: Band 3
- IELTS: Band 5.0
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 42
- TOEFL PBT: Minimum score of 500
- SPM English Language 1119/O-Level/IGCSE: Minimum Grade C
In the event that the English language requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take the Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the programme.
For International Students:
- Cambridge Linguaskill: Minimum score of 154
- IELTS: Band 5.0
- Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests: Minimum score of 154
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 40
- Pearson Test of English: Minimum score of 47
- MUET: Band 3.5
