Entry Requirements

STPM (Arts Stream):

  • Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent OR 

  • Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) subjects and a credit in SPM Mathematics and any one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject or its equivalent

STPM (Science Stream): Pass with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics and one (1) Science / ICT subject

A-Level:

  • Pass with Grade D in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent OR
  • Pass with Grade D in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Mathematics and any one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM Level or its equivalent

STAM (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia)

  • Pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid (Good) in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM Level OR
  • Pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid (Good) in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Mathematics and any Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM Level

5. UEC (Unified Examination Certificate)

  • Pass with at least Grade B in any five (5) subjects and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent OR
  • Pass with at least Grade B in any five (5) subjects and a credit in Mathematics and any one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM Level or its equivalent

6. Foundation / Matriculation:

  • Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent
    OR
  • Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Mathematics and any one Science, Technology, or Engineering subject at SPM Level or its equivalent 

Candidates are required to take and pass a reinforcement mathematics subject in the first semester

Diploma in Computing Fields (Level 4, MQF):

  • Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.50
  • Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be subject to an internal evaluation/interview

Any Diploma in Science & Technology (Level 4, MQF)

  • Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
  • Candidates with CGPA between 2.50 – 2.75 may be subject to an internal evaluation/interview

Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing Fields: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval

Note: International students with qualifications where English is the primary language of instruction are exempted from this requirement. Students who do not meet the English language requirements may enroll in the Intensive English Programme at Nilai University to improve their skills and prepare for the IELTS examination.
