About
The Master of Physiotherapy program at MAHSA University is offered both full-time (one year) and part-time (two years). Candidates have the option of specialising in neurology or musculoskeletal disorders. In order to make accurate clinical decisions for complex musculoskeletal and neurologic issues, this state-of-the-art program is available to physiotherapists who are dedicated to serving the community as evidence-based practitioners with strong clinical reasoning and who want to further their careers.
To advance from entry-level therapy to a speciality, one must complete coursework in the relevant fields and get a post-graduate degree. Gaining credentials from this program will help you advance in your career as a physiotherapist. It makes it possible to pursue additional research and a wide range of professional development options as a specialist, academic, policymaker, or clinical management.
Higher-order problem-solving exercises, case studies, practice-based learning, peer help, and blended learning using e-Learn are just a few of the many instructional strategies that are included in the program. Both coursework and research are included in the program, with a stronger focus on advanced abilities in the relevant fields. With the exception of clinical assignments at our panel hospitals, the full-time program is exclusively held on campus. The part-time program is offered in blocks, with in-person classes held on site at the university and e-Learn-supported learning. Every module is taught by academics, professionals, and practitioners who are up to date on the most recent advancements in the industry.
This program's distinctive design places a strong emphasis on research-informed instruction with the goal of pushing students to become evidence-based practitioners. The encouraging learning environment at MAHSA University teaches applicants how to work together, be creative, and achieve success. Postgraduate learning will be facilitated by academicians with a broad range of expertise.
The University has set up a state-of-the-art Physiotherapy Research Laboratory that includes an ISOKINETIC MACHINE, REALTIME ULTRASOUND, ELECTROGONIOMETER, EMG, and a GAIT LAB WITH FORCE PLATFORM.
The candidate receives the MASTER OF PHYSIOTHERAPY in one of the registered disciplines upon satisfactory completion of the program.
