About
Giving students a thorough understanding of electrical and electronic engineering theory and practice is the program's main goal. It is intended to provide a wide understanding and cultivate the abilities necessary for the Electrical and Electronics industry, so preparing them for the workforce. Additionally, this program is intended to provide up a path for students to pursue advanced degree programs.
The DEE curriculum at MAHSA lasts for 2.5 years and is divided into 7 semesters. The MAHSA University campus serves as the primary location for this program, with some laboratory work involved. In order to assist students enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, the curriculum encourages student-centered learning, problem-based learning, and practical training. After completing Year 1, the student will begin their industrial training or internship in Semester 3 of Year 2.
Students will do a 12-week internship in order to expose them to the real working world. A lecturer who communicates with the industry will oversee the students. The industries must assess and report on the students' job performance, and the students must submit a report at the conclusion of the training. Students learn how to write reports for technological projects and are exposed to real-world work environments. This curriculum exposes students to strategic project planning and management in addition to providing them with advanced academic and practical skills. Students analyse, analyse, and respond to real-world industry requirements using the knowledge they have gained from their coursework. The emphasis will be on teaching the theoretical and practical skills necessary for profitable work in industry.
A Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics engineering degree is awarded upon completion of this two and a half-year program. The MQA and EAC will accredit this program.
