About

The MBA in Health Care Management at Lincoln University College (LUC) equips students with essential business skills to become effective decision-makers in improving healthcare quality and accessibility while managing costs efficiently. This program is available both full-time (18 months) and part-time (3 years). The program integrates management theory with examples from the healthcare sector to provide a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management.

Through specially-designed modules, students gain knowledge in basic management disciplines and specialized areas of healthcare management. One of the program's unique features is the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from peers with diverse experiences in healthcare systems worldwide. For successful completion of the Master's degree at LUC, candidates are required to publish a minimum of two research articles in Scopus-indexed journals with Lincoln affiliation.

Entry Requirements

Any one of these:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Lincoln University College Senate; or
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a relevant field; or
  • Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.

English Profiency Requirements (International Students):

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or its equivalent.

If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPS must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the program.
