About
Biomedical scientists are essential in the field of biomedical research, a sector at the forefront of the Malaysian government’s push into developed nation status. It is also a field of endeavour that first world nations put a premium on.
As such, biomedical science is a profession that will continue to expand especially in Malaysia where there has been rapid growth in the healthcare system.
At IMU, the biomedical science degree programme is mapped to the international standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), UK.

Entry Requirements
Undergraduate Entry Requirements:
- Applicants should have an academic record of higher examinations, diploma, foundation or equivalent, in related subjects and in fulfillment of IMU's benchmark
Language Requirements:
- MUET band score of 4 (for Malaysian students only)
- IELTS overall band score of 6.5 (Not less than 6.0 for individual bands)
- Those who opt for the overseas option must achieve an overall band score of 7.0 (Not less than 6.0 for individual bands)
