The Foundation in Science is a targeted plan of academic subjects, study skills, and English language training that will lead you directly to a professionally useful and globally recognised degree at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia.

Intakes
Entry Requirements
Any of These:
- SPM/O-Levels:
- Minimum 5 credits (C's), including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Additional Mathematics.
- IB MYP:
- 3 subjects with Grade 6 (English, Mathematics, and Physics/Chemistry).
- 2 subjects with Grade 5 (Additional Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry).
- Conditional Offers:
- Available for students with forecast results.
- Advance Standing:
- May be granted for those with appropriate pre-university qualifications.
- Final results are required before the program starts.
- Pre-requisite Subjects:
- Progression to an undergraduate program may require specific grades in pre-requisite subjects at SPM/O-Level/Equivalent levels, in addition to Foundation results.
English Language Requirements:
- For Non-Native English Speakers:
- Evidence of English language ability is required.
- Minimum IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent) with no score below 5.0.
- English Language Courses:
- Offered for those who do not meet the IELTS 5.5 requirement.
