Duration Of Study:

Full Time: 3/8 Year, Part Time: 5/10 Years

Entry Requirements

a) al A Master’s Degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR

b) A Master Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to having relevant working experience* and rigorous internal assessment**: OR

c) A Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non relate fields as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses***; OR

d) Other qualifications equivalent to a Masters Degree [Level 7, MQF) recognized by the Malaysian Government.

Additional requirements (for international students)

• achieve a minimum band 4 in the malaysian university english test (muet) or an equivalent score in the common european framework of reference (cefr) (mid b2)

• experience can be cumulative, including work experience before acquiring the required qualification, but it must be relevant to the level and content of study

rigorous assessment criteria may include:

• demonstration of strong business experience and significant managerial responsibilities

• evidence of professional achievements, career progression, and organizational impact

• professional skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and analysis

• contributions to the class and experiences that add value to the institution

pre-requisite courses

• must provide foundational business knowledge in areas like managing people, financial resources, customer relations, business environment, and strategic planning at one level lower than the programme level

doctoral degree direct admission criteria

• candidates with a first-class bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

• candidates with a cgpa of at least 3.67 from an academic or technical and vocational education and training (tvet) programme

• subject to rigorous internal assessment and approval by the higher education provider (hep) senate

• candidates must show appropriate academic progress during the candidature period

medical requirements

• all international students must undergo a medical check-up in malaysia (arranged by alfa university college) and be certified as medically fit

• alfa university college reserves the right to withdraw the offer or terminate studies if a student is found to have a contagious disease or a medical condition requiring continuous care that affects their studies
