Curriculum
Longside core Chemistry modules, you can select from a range of options in Warwick Business School, such as Corporate Strategy, Market Analysis, or Principles of Finance, in order to tailor the course to your chosen area of management science. We encourage our students to take part in the URSS scheme, which allows them to participate in cutting-edge research during vacations. Recent research projects have included studying the structure of graphene, and working on platinum anti-cancer drugs and novel anti-inflammatory drugs.
Your first year will include a high degree of practical Chemistry, which lessens in your second and third years, to be replaced by Business School modules. Content in the first year is 80% Chemistry: 20% Business, and this changes over the duration of the course to 60% Chemistry by your third year, giving an overall balance of 67% Chemistry, 33% Business.
