Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Technology (Hons)

This program's goal is to provide students with operational, theoretical, and practical skills relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and allied fields. Graduates will gain a foundational understanding of scientific fields that will prepare them for careers in drug development and discovery, formulation, evaluation, standards, and regulations, as well as marketing pharmaceuticals and other related goods like cosmetics, herbal remedies, and functional food preparations.

Entry Level and Requirements

For Local Students

• Pass STPM or its equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in TWO (2) subjects; OR

• Pass Matriculation/Foundation in any IPTA/IPTS/permitted institution to conduct foundation programs with CGPA 2.00; OR

• Pass Diploma MQF Level 4 with a minimum CGPA 2.00; OR

• Pass Advanced Diploma MQF Level 5 with a minimum CGPA 2.0; OR

• Pass STAM (Grade Jayyid) or its equivalent; OR

• Pass Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and the program must get Full Accreditation (FA) by MQA or other accreditation bodies that have been recognized by the Government of Malaysia and according to approval by UniKL Senate.

For International Students

• Students must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain a general pass in their High School Certificate,
• A-levels or equivalent with min Grade B (85%) in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics.
• IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
