The Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) at SEGi University is a dynamic and industry-driven degree programme designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills in information technology and business systems. Entry Requirements

  • Pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Pass in STPM or its equivalent with a minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Any other Diploma in Science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Pass in A-Level in 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level
  • Pass in New South Wales Higher Certificate with Grade C in 2 subjects, one in Mathematics
  • South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) 2 passes with Grade C in Mathematics
  • Pass in 2 subjects in Canadian Pre-U (CPU) / Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Mathematics
  • Pass in International Baccalaureate, with at least score of 24
  • Pass in Diploma in Information Technology OR Diploma in Computer Studies from any Higher Institutions Provider recognised by Malaysia Government
  • Pass in Diploma in related field by Higher Institutions Provider recognised by Malaysia Government
  • Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysia Government
