Diploma in Nursing
About
The Diploma in Nursing at SEGi College is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills required to become registered nurses. This programme integrates both the compassionate care aspects of nursing with the scientific principles of healthcare.
Students will gain comprehensive training through classroom-based learning, hands-on activities in simulation wards, practical rooms, skills labs, and the Human Patient Simulator lab. Additionally, real-world experience is provided through clinical attachments at SEGi College’s partner hospitals and community health clinics.
This programme is fully approved by the Ministry of Education and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, as well as accredited by the Ministry of Health and the Malaysian Nursing Board. Graduates who successfully pass the final examinations are eligible to register with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
With a Diploma in Nursing from SEGi College, graduates can pursue careers as Registered Nurses within the healthcare industry, including roles in corporate and business healthcare sectors. Additional career opportunities include Nursing Supervisor, Hospital Manager, Nurse Educator, and Industrial Nurse.

Entry Requirements
- 3 Credits in SPM including Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics (Elementary Maths/Modern Maths/Additional Maths) and Science (Science/Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Applied Science/Additional Science) AND Pass in 2 subjects in SPM including English. (Only applicable to Malaysians enrolling in the 2025/2026 intakes).
- O-Level / UEC with pass in English and 5 credits including Maths and 1 science
- Community Nurse / Assistant Nurse Certificate with minimum 3 years working experience
