Entry Requirements

Students will normally be expected to possess five GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent (including English and Mathematics) and also to hold at least one of the following or equivalent UK or international qualification:

  • 2 A levels, grades C or above
  • 4 AS levels, grades C or above
  • 2 vocational A levels, grades C or above 
  • Level 3 Foundation Diploma or National Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma, grades C or above
  • International Baccalaureate, 28 points or above

  • Time based narrative and visual studies; animation technique and visual studies; character performance and visual studies; communication and visualisation; mapping your profession; planning for enterprise, and theory and context.
  • Digital environments and visual studies; post production and visual effects; industry exercises; promotions and advertising; making it happen; debate and polemic, and dissertation preparation.
  • Advanced skills; pre- production; animation promotion; major project; major project report; taking it forward and dissertation.
