This additional year of honours degree is your opportunity to follow your passion if your scientific degree inspired you to learn more about a particular subject. Along with gaining discipline-specific knowledge in your chosen field of speciality, the extra year includes a research thesis and other modules that will help you hone your research and analytical abilities. You will produce a thesis, present your research orally, and take part in seminars—all of which can serve as stepping stones to more advanced scientific degrees like a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
