As it prepares students for their whole professional career in a nursing speciality, the Post Basic in Perioperative Nursing seeks to produce nurses who are professional, knowledgeable, and skilled in providing safe and skilful perioperative nursing care. The nursing speciality of perioperative nursing deals with patients undergoing surgery or other invasive treatments. The operating room is where perioperative nurses mainly provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.

Entry Requirements
Malaysian Candidate:
- Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent and from an institution that is recognized by Nursing Board Malaysia
- Minimum three (3) months working experience in related field
- Minimum 2 years clinical working experience
- Registered with Nursing Board Malaysia
- Possess a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Registered with Nursing Council or Board of Nursing at respective Country
International Candidate:
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution by MNB (Malaysian Nursing Board)
- Registered with the Nursing Council of the country origin
- Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience.
- Pass IELTS with minimum score of 5.5/TOEFL with minimum score of 515/215/80
