Accommodation
A variety of student accommodation is available to suit your budget and needs. WAIFS has preferred supplier relationships with Brooke Stone and Nacel who specialise in student accommodation, including homestay accommodation.
Brooke Stone has a large number of modern properties available for rent which are within close proximity to the campus. These are modern, well-equipped houses and apartments which are available, including shared and single accommodation.
Nacel is an experienced provider of homestay accommodation to international students. Homestay is where you live with an Australian family for all or part of your study period. It is a great opportunity for you to learn conversational English, and experience first-hand the friendly Western Australian lifestyle and culture.
Single or shared rooms are available. Meals are usually included, but cheaper self-catering homestay is available. As you will be living in someone else’s home, you will be expected to clean up after yourself, especially in shared areas.
Campus
WAIFS has recently established a brand new campus with excellent facilities. From language and computer labs, fully-equipped classrooms – all with wireless internet access – to large, comfortable relaxation areas, WAIFS aims to provide a welcoming environment for all and an environment equipped to teach its students to the highest standards.
The facilities of a university, the welcome of a small, friendly campus. You will not be a faceless number at WAIFS but a member of our educational family. We want you to succeed and our ratios of staff to students mean we are able to offer support where needed.
We are smaller than a university but able to offer our students the benefits of community membership of the $500m library at Edith Cowan University ECU and reduced rate membership of ECU’s excellent gymnasiu.
Just a twenty five minute drive north of Perth is the City of Joondalup. The region covers an area of 99 square kilometers from beach to bushland. The City Centre has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and is a combination of cultural, civic, commercial and residential properties built on the edge of stunning Lake Joondalup.
