Entry Requirements

  • All applicants are required to have a bachelor degree in any discipline, or at least 3 years work experience or professional practice in media production.
  • A minimum IELTS (Academic module) overall score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.  

Curriculum

Through collaborative practice you will develop the knowledge, technical skills and experience needed to build a career in the increasingly integrated media industries, from traditional video and audio production to networked media channels.

This program is designed to meet the industry's need for graduates who are knowledgeable and skilled in:

  • video
  • audio
  • cross-media technologies
  • web-based production
  • both fiction and non-fiction projects.

The program covers traditional film and television, as well as cross-media production, online media developments and emerging global media practices and trends.

You will work independently and in production teams and confidently communicate complex and innovative ideas to allied professionals such as designers and programmers. This program has a strong focus on strategic planning to allow you to implement your practical skills and knowledge.
