About Monash University
Established in 1958, Monash University is a widespread global university located in Melbourne with eight of its campuses paved across the world, including Malaysia and South Africa, with an additional centre in Prato, Italy. At Monash University, it highly encourages the operation of conducting education and research in hopes of creating more research prospects and close-knitted community relationships.
A series of collaborative research, student exchange programs and an increasing community of Alumni exist as part of Monash’s effort in ensuring the three factors can continue to equip their current students to be more prepared in creating an impact to the industry. Living in Melbourne will be a big part of your experience. You can live in approved off-campus student accommodation, on-campus at Clayton, or with an Australian family (homestay). Monash recommendeds the provider are safe and secure. Each student requirements will be different. Make sure you choose the best option.
Tip: Book accommodation early. Providers are booked 12 months in advance. As soon as you have received an offer, start thinking about where you want to live.
Campus
Monash University has three campuses in Melbourne. The student will have access to convertible classrooms that feature the latest technology and modern study areas. There are lots of place to do assignments, borrow books and stud.
Clayton campus
Clayton has around 26,000 students and is the largest of all Monash campuses. Here you’ll find four libraries, a lively campus centre, a sports complex and shops. Our diploma students study at Clayton.
Melbourne city campus
Our city campus is in the heart of Melbourne so you’ll be close to transport, libraries and museums. Monash University Foundation Year students and some of our English language students study at the city campus.
Caulfield campus
Caulfield is the University’s second largest campus and is just a short train ride from Melbourne’s city centre. Diploma of Art & Design students study at Caulfield.
